About Bang Muang Subdistrict
Bang Muang (ตำบลบางม่วง) is a subdistrict of Takua Pa District, Phang Nga, separate from namesakes in Nonthaburi and Nakhon Sawan. Land Development Department records identify Ban Nam Khem, Bang Muang, Bang Ruan, Bang Lut and northern and southern Bang Sak communities.
The department describes western coastal plains and some steeper eastern terrain, crossed by channels including Khlong Bang Muang, Huai Kaeo and Bang Lut. Silpakorn University research documents the Moken community at Ban Nam Khem in village 2, while provincial fisheries records identify its landing.
Choose the exact community, beach or landing when travelling. Village life and working fishing facilities deserve respectful, arranged visits. Confirm current crossing and boat arrangements locally rather than assuming a service operates from the administrative reference point.
