About Batong Subdistrict
Batong (บาตง) is a subdistrict of Rueso District in Narathiwat, distinct from Betong in neighbouring Yala Province. Its council's local profile describes uplands alternating with lower ground. The eastern side includes low-lying agricultural land and the Sai Buri River, while foothill terrain occurs towards the west.
The authority records farming, particularly rubber cultivation, among local livelihoods. Its village inventory includes Ban Batong, Santi Suk, Bluka Hulu, Tanyong and other communities. The same profile identifies waterlogging and flood exposure in lower areas; this is a description of the landscape rather than a statement that flooding is occurring now.
For directions, use the particular village together with Rueso District and Narathiwat Province. Check local road and river conditions when travelling in wet weather. The published subdistrict point is for orientation and does not identify an attraction entrance or riverside access site.
