About Bo Phut Subdistrict
Bo Phut (ตำบลบ่อผุด) is a subdistrict in Ko Samui District, Surat Thani. The district agricultural village table identifies Bo Phut, Ko Fan, Bang Rak, Plai Laem, Chaweng Yai and Chaweng Noi within its six-village administrative area.
The Ministry of Tourism and Sports describes Bo Phut Beach's older waterfront fishing settlement and identifies Choeng Mon Beach in the same tambon. This establishes a broader geography than the neighbourhood commonly marketed as Fisherman's Village. Bo Phut is one of seven subdistricts served by Ko Samui Municipality.
Specify the actual beach, village or institution when arranging transport. A Bo Phut postal address may be some distance from Fisherman's Village. Check beach access and sea conditions locally; the administrative point does not identify an airport entrance, pier or accommodation.
