About Bu Di Subdistrict
Bu Di (ตำบลบุดี), written Budee by its municipality, is a subdistrict in Mueang Yala District, Yala. It lies southeast of the city area, adjoining Sateng Nok and communities towards Raman District.
The municipal profile lists villages including Ban Bu Di, Ban Nibong, Ban Bue Nae and Ban Buke Khla. Its place-name history associates Budi with a large bodhi tree formerly standing in village 1. Agricultural land and the neighbouring hill landscape form a setting quite different from the densely built central city.
Use a village and full street address when planning a visit; Bu Di is not a single urban landmark. Confirm the current route from Yala with your host, especially during heavy rain. For local services, contact the Budee municipality directly; the general tambon marker is not the municipal office entrance.
