About Chaloem Subdistrict

Chaloem (ตำบลเฉลิม) is a subdistrict in Ra-ngae District, Narathiwat. It includes the Si Po area, where official tourism information locates the Namtok Si Po visitor headquarters and waterfall approach. The tambon is larger than the waterfall site or its protected-area facilities.

Si Po's forested hills and watercourses form part of the district's inland landscape. Provincial statistical and cultural sources associate Ban Si Po with longkong fruit-growing history. The waterfall is a separate natural attraction with its own paths and management, while village settlements and agricultural land have other uses and access arrangements.

Plan a waterfall visit through the park's current visitor information, confirming the approach, trail access and weather conditions before setting out. Do not assume that a subdistrict reference point is the waterfall entrance. Community and orchard visits should be agreed with the host, and fruit availability depends on the season.
