Chalong (ฉลอง) is a subdistrict of Mueang Phuket, adjoining Wichit to the north, Rawai to the south, Karon to the west and Chalong Bay to the east. Its municipality serves ten village communities.
Local names include Khao Noi, Bon Suan, Pa Lai, Na Yai, Na Kok, Chalong, Wat Mai, Khok Sai, Khok Tanot and Yot Sane. The municipality associates the tambon's name with Wat Chalong.
