About Hat Yai Subdistrict

Hat Yai (หาดยาย) is a subdistrict of Lang Suan District, Chumphon. Its Thai name and administrative identity are different from Hat Yai city in Songkhla.

The local authority describes higher ground, hills and forest, with the Lang Suan River and several smaller streams crossing the tambon. This water network supports the area's agricultural landscape.

Wang Tako lies to the north, Ban Khuan to the south, Tha Maphla to the east and Pang Wan in Phato District to the west. The subdistrict is inland: its name should not be treated as evidence of a coastal beach destination. Use the named village or local site when planning a journey.
