About Kabang Subdistrict

Kabang (กาบัง) is a subdistrict in Kabang District, Yala, separate from the larger district that shares its name. It lies north of Bala and adjoins the Saba Yoi side of Songkhla. Communities listed in the local plan include Ban Bannang Dama, Nibong, Lubo Panyang, Lalae and Kabang village.

The terrain combines hills, foothill plains and cultivated ground, with the Thepha River and Khlong Nam Khun shaping local drainage. Rubber and fruit orchards are important land uses. Public services and village centres are spread across the tambon, so Kabang village and the district office should not be assumed to be the same destination.

Use a full village address or a named institution for the last part of the journey. The local plan identifies heavier rainfall towards the end of the year; confirm minor-road and stream-crossing conditions with a host before leaving the main route. Farms and household land need prior agreement for visits.
