About Kalisa Subdistrict
Kalisa (ตำบลกาลิซา) is a subdistrict in Ra-ngae District, Narathiwat. A local research study places it in the district's inland hill country, adjoining Chaloem and Ba-Ngo Sato to the north and the Si Sakhon area to the west.
The study documents water-management work at Ban Kadeng, with irrigation and domestic-water benefits for nearby farming communities including Ban Kalisa and Ban Pungo. Official tourism material includes parts of Kalisa within the wider Namtok Si Po protected landscape. This does not mean every village road or farm forms part of a public park route.
Give the exact village and meeting point when arranging a visit; Ban Kadeng and the subdistrict reference point are different destinations. Ask local hosts about road conditions and access to working farms or irrigation structures. A visit to park-managed forest or waterfall areas requires separate confirmation with the responsible park staff.
