About Kami Yo Subdistrict
Kami Yo (กะมิยอ), also written Kamiyo, is a subdistrict of Mueang Pattani in Pattani Province. The Land Development Department identifies rubber and rice cultivation among its land uses, alongside household livestock and other employment.
Research on the locality describes settlement along an important canal connected with Pattani Bay and the survival of old wells among the communities. Community craft research also connects Kami Yo with the production of kapiyoh prayer caps. Canal history and household skills help explain the locality without turning its entire administrative boundary into one heritage attraction.
For a community visit, obtain a specific village and meeting point. Ask the host before visiting a household production space or cultivated plot, and use the full Pattani address because English spellings of the tambon vary.
