About Kayo Mati Subdistrict
Kayo Mati (กาเยาะมาตี), administrative code 960303, is one of the tambons of Bacho District in Narathiwat. Its local-government profile distinguishes the wooded, mountainous western side adjoining the Budo range from the lower eastern land. Rice fields, rubber, coconut and fruit cultivation form part of the rural economy. Named communities include Champa Ko, Yalu Tong and Kayo Mati village; the tambon covers these settlements together rather than representing just the village of the same name.
Use the village name as well as Kayo Mati when arranging a visit. The local profile identifies Highway 42 as an inter-district road connection, with smaller roads serving communities inside the tambon. Mountain-edge destinations and lowland village addresses require different final approaches. The displayed point is a geographic reference for the subdistrict and should not replace the address of a host or public office.
