About Khiri Khet Subdistrict
Khiri Khet (คีรีเขต) is a subdistrict of Than To District, Yala. Government agricultural reporting documents hillside durian growing at Ban Din Samoe, including work to improve irrigation and manage orchards on steep ground. This provides a specific example of local farming rather than an assumption that every part of the tambon grows the same crop.
Royal Development Projects Board records also identify a water-storage and supply project for Ban Din Samoe. Its historical purpose was to improve household water availability, illustrating the importance of dependable water management to local communities. Project design figures and projected beneficiaries are not a current population count for the entire subdistrict.
Arrange farm-learning visits directly with a host and confirm the exact village route. Working orchards and water infrastructure should not be treated as unrestricted visitor sites, and the general tambon reference point is not the entrance to a particular farm or project.
