About Khlong Chanak Subdistrict
Khlong Chanak (คลองฉนาก) belongs to Mueang Surat Thani District. A Suratthani Rajabhat University community-history publication describes its lowland estuarine setting, mangroves and numerous waterways, with older river-side houses and later road-side settlement. Agricultural-extension records locate an aquatic-animal farming and processing learning group in village 5. The tambon is distinct from the similarly named waterway and is not accessible only by boat.
For a community or fisheries visit, arrange the exact village and host and establish whether the final approach is by road or water. Working ponds and processing premises are separate destinations. The administrative reference point is not a public landing or a producer-group entrance.
