About Khlong Maning Subdistrict

Khlong Maning (คลองมานิง) is a subdistrict of Mueang Pattani, inland from Pattani Bay. The Anthropology Centre's community account places Ban Khlong Maning in Village 2 and describes approaches from Highway 42 and the rural road between Krue Se and Lue Mo.

The locality's lowland farming includes rice, field crops and fruit gardens. Its cultural economy also includes the making of kapiyoh, the Malay Muslim prayer cap, with production links to nearby Kami Yo. These are living household and community activities rather than an unrestricted craft exhibition.

Visitors interested in the craft or a local learning activity should arrange a host and workshop location first. Village roads, farms and production spaces have separate entrances; the tambon reference point is useful for orientation but does not identify a particular workshop.
