About Ko Bulon Mai Phai

Ko Bulon Mai Phai is a physical island in the Bulon group off Pak Bara, within Pak Nam Subdistrict. It is distinct from both Ko Bulon Le and Ko Bulon Don. Because several older gazetteer names overlap, the island’s location should be checked together with its name.

Setting and highlights

The island forms part of the Mu Ko Phetra marine setting. Its wooded shore and beaches are associated with small-boat excursions and camping visits described in local travel accounts, rather than the resort village on Bulon Le.

Getting there

Arrange a boat route from the Pak Bara area or through an operator familiar with the Bulon islands. Specify Mai Phai and confirm the actual landing point and return arrangements instead of booking only by the general name Bulon.

Planning your visit

Camping and access can be affected by park management and seasonal conditions. Obtain confirmation of current permission and facilities before planning an overnight stay. No camping tariff, fixed opening schedule or guaranteed year-round access is stated.
