About Ko Jum

Ko Jum is the island commonly called Koh Jum or Ko Pu, in Ko Si Boya Subdistrict of Nuea Khlong District. Its communities include Ban Ko Pu, Ban Ting Rai and Ban Ko Jum, with fishing, agriculture and small tourism businesses sharing the island. The northern and southern names reflect local geography and settlement history rather than two separate modern resort islands.

The west-coast beaches provide the main setting for island stays, while local piers and village life are part of the experience. A practical mainland approach is by boat from Laem Kruat; some wider island services are seasonal. Ask your accommodation which pier or offshore transfer your booking uses, because arrivals are not interchangeable.

Plan a visit around the community rather than treating the island as an empty beach attraction. Dress considerately in villages, ask before photographing residents and confirm local transport and the return boat in advance. Rough sea conditions can alter connections, so leave flexibility before onward flights.
