About Ko Kut (Koh Kood)

The island combines a wooded interior with a coastline of separated bays rather than a single continuous resort strip. Khlong Chao and Khlong Yai Ki waterfalls are inland highlights, while Ao Yai and Ao Salat provide a view of working fishing communities. This record represents the physical island within Ko Kut Subdistrict; Ko Kut District also includes Ko Mak and other islands. Waterfall conditions and access vary with rainfall.

Laem Sok on the Trat mainland is an important boat gateway. Confirm the arrival pier and accommodation transfer because bays are spread around the island and boat services vary by season. Allow time for both coastal and inland journeys, and arrange transport suited to the local roads. Check waterfall conditions locally and respect working areas in fishing villages. Book onward and return boats with enough flexibility for sea conditions.
