About Ko Libong Subdistrict
Ko Libong (ตำบลเกาะลิบง) is a subdistrict of Kantang District, Trang. Its boundary is broader than the physical island of Ko Libong and includes both mainland and island settlements.
The authority's tourism plan lists eight villages. Mainland communities include Mod Tanoi, Chao Mai and Su Ngai Batu; island communities include Khok Sathon, Ko Muk, Batu Pute, Lang Khao and Sai Kaeo. This distinction matters when interpreting addresses, arranging boats or comparing this record with separate island attraction pages.
Specify the island or mainland village, departure pier and accommodation when planning a journey. Confirm boat services, weather and any park restrictions with the responsible operator. The administrative reference point is not a universal arrival pier, and no single island itinerary covers the entire tambon.
