About Ko Mak Subdistrict
Ko Mak (เกาะหมาก) is a subdistrict of Pak Phayun District, Phatthalung, in the central Songkhla Lake basin. Its council describes low hills and foothill plains used for homes and agriculture, with fishing along the lakeshore.
Its eleven villages include Tha Wa, Chong Fuen, Laem Kruat, Ko Khop, Pak Bang Nakharat, Khao Chan and Ko Suea. Council planning also records rubber growing and traditional lake-fishing livelihoods within the area.
This is the Ko Mak administrative area in Phatthalung, distinct from the island subdistrict in Trat's Ko Kut District. Confirm the specific village, shore access or boat meeting point for a visit; the tambon map reference does not identify a universal island landing.
