Ko Ngam
เกาะง่าม
Ko Ngam lies southeast of Ko Chang, where two wooded hills meet at a narrow sandy neck with bays on either side.
About this place
The paired hills and connecting sand ridge give Ko Ngam a distinctive outline. It belongs to Ko Chang Tai Subdistrict in Trat and is a separate island from the Ngam islands off Chumphon. Sheltered-looking bays and views back towards Ko Chang are the main draw; the island is often approached as a small-boat outing from southern Ko Chang. Conditions on opposite sides of the sand neck can differ with wind and tide.

Plan your visit
Confirm a permitted landing and a suitable boat departure with a local operator. Check sea conditions and agree a return pickup before leaving Ko Chang. Older visitor descriptions mention accommodation, but a current overnight operation has not been established in this review; plan a day visit unless a host confirms otherwise. Protect the beach and vegetation, and bring drinking water rather than assuming services will be available.
