Ko Sam Sao is an individual island in Mu Ko Ang Thong National Park, in Ang Thong Subdistrict of Ko Samui District, Surat Thani. It is distinct from the broader archipelago and from the park's visitor base on Ko Wua Ta Lap.
Setting and highlights
A natural stone arch curving out over the sea is a characteristic feature. Sandy shore and surrounding reef waters add interest, but the permitted landing or water activity depends on park conditions and the itinerary you book.

Visits are arranged by boat as part of an Ang Thong outing. Confirm whether your trip actually stops at Sam Sao, passes the arch from the water, or concentrates on other islands such as Mae Ko and Wua Ta Lap.
