About Ko Sarai Subdistrict
Ko Sarai (เกาะสาหร่าย), code 910106, belongs to Mueang Satun District. The local-government profile describes an island tambon in the Andaman Sea, organised geographically around the Sarai–Tanyong Uma, Tarutao–Ko Klang and Adang–Rawi–Lipe island groups. Ministry of Culture research also places the Ko Lipe community in this tambon. The administrative area is much broader than an individual Ko Sarai island, Ko Lipe or the boundary of Tarutao National Park.
Choose the specific island and landing before booking transport, then check current boat and national-park information for that destination. Routes serving different island groups are not interchangeable. The administrative reference point is a geographic locator and not a mainland terminal, boat landing or visitor entrance.
