About La-Nga Subdistrict
La-Nga (ลางา), also written Langa, is a subdistrict of Mayo District, Pattani. The municipality describes foothill plains, while the local health organisation's geographical profile distinguishes lowland areas from higher and more mountainous ground.
Rice and fruit cultivation are associated with lower land, and rubber and forested ground with higher areas. This mixed terrain helps explain the spread of settlements and agricultural land within the tambon.
