About Laem Son Subdistrict
Laem Son (แหลมสน) is a subdistrict of La-ngu District, Satun, on the district's western side. The local authority describes coastal plains together with some island areas, so its administrative boundary is broader than any single beach, cape or island.
Marine-resource records include Laem Son among Satun's coastal localities affected by shoreline change. These are long-term environmental records rather than a live access notice. The coast, village roads and any offshore destination require separate planning, particularly when weather or sea conditions affect travel.
Use the exact mainland village or island name when arranging transport. Confirm a departure point and operating conditions directly for any boat journey, and do not assume a ferry service from the subdistrict's name. The geographic reference point represents the wider tambon; local offices, beaches and landing places each have their own approaches.
