About Lamphun Subdistrict

Lamphun (ลำพูน) belongs to Ban Na San District, Surat Thani, distinct from Lamphun Province in northern Thailand. Both the official tourism directory and the Department of Mineral Resources locate Dat Fa Waterfall within this tambon; the visitor account identifies village 7 and the Tai Rom Yen National Park setting. The waterfall and managed forest are parts of a wider administrative area, rather than the whole tambon or interchangeable coordinates.

For a waterfall trip, check current park access and conditions and use the actual managed entrance. Published accounts differ on the number of tiers, so a full route should not be assumed accessible. The administrative map reference is separate from the waterfall trailhead or park office.
