About Li Don Subdistrict
Li Don (ตำบลลิดล) is a subdistrict in Mueang Yala District, Yala. Local university research distinguishes its five-village administrative area from the city centre, describing predominantly flat and low-lying land with hills on part of the western side.
The village landscape supports rubber growing and rice cultivation. Government reporting includes Li Don in water-management work serving agricultural communities alongside Po Seng, Yala and Na Tham. This shared irrigation setting is useful regional context, but it does not make the four tambons one administrative unit or a single visitor site.
Give Li Don and the exact village name when arranging local transport or a community visit. Ask your host about the approach during wet weather and obtain permission before entering cultivated plots or irrigation structures. Navigate to a confirmed address rather than the administrative map reference.
