About Li Let Subdistrict

Li Let (ตำบลลีเล็ด) is a subdistrict of Phunphin District, Surat Thani. Thailand's environmental heritage database identifies its older community as an agricultural and waterfront settlement.

Low-lying land and tidal reaches connect with Ban Don Bay, with extensive coastal mangroves and several waterways. The heritage account describes raised timber houses along the channels, changing livelihoods from rice and gardens towards fishing, shrimp farming and coconut cultivation, and community efforts around mangrove learning and local performing traditions.

Arrange any mangrove or community boat visit with a local group and confirm tides, departure point and current arrangements. This is a lived-in administrative area, so private jetties and homes are not automatically public visitor facilities. The representative point does not identify a particular pier.
