About Lubo Sawo Subdistrict

Lubo Sawo (ตำบลลุโบะสาวอ) is a subdistrict in Bacho District, Narathiwat. It includes Ban Talo Mano, a community known for the historic Wadi al-Hussein Mosque, often called the 300-year-old mosque. It is distinct from Sawo Subdistrict in Rueso.

The mosque's timber construction and a combination of local Thai, Malay and Chinese architectural influences are documented by official heritage sources. Talo Mano remains a working agricultural and religious community. Local authority material also preserves a place-name story linking Lubo Sawo with a pond and a python; it should be understood as community tradition.

The mosque remains a place of worship. The authority advises that viewing is normally from outside and interior visits require the village imam's permission. Follow local dress and photography guidance, avoid disrupting prayer and confirm any guided visit ahead of time. Travel to the specific mosque or village address rather than the tambon's general map marker.
