About Pak Nam Subdistrict
Pak Nam (ปากน้ำ) belongs to Mueang Chumphon District, distinct from Pak Nam in Lang Suan. The local municipal profile describes settlement on both banks of the Tha Taphao mouth, with tidal alluvial ground and sandy coastal soils. It explicitly covers selected villages and part of village 7, rather than the entire tambon. The wider administrative area and an individual port, landing or municipal service boundary should not be treated as interchangeable.
For a ferry or fishing-port journey, confirm the exact terminal and current operator instructions. River-side addresses can be on different banks and require different approaches. The administrative point is separate from a pier entrance, embarkation desk or office.
