About Pak Song Subdistrict

Pak Song (ปากทรง) is a subdistrict in Phato District, Chumphon. The council records nine villages, including To Tang, Thap Khon, Tabaek Ngam and Khlong Ruea, connected to the wider region by Highway 4006.

Its mountains and headwater forests contain numerous streams and canals. The local profile also records tin mining as an important part of the area's history, with former workings leaving ponds and altered ground in some locations.

The forested hills, agricultural communities and former mining landscape are different parts of the tambon. A named village or site provides a more precise destination than the administrative reference point; natural-area access should be checked with the relevant local organiser.
