About Pak Trae Subdistrict

Pak Trae (ปากแตระ) is a six-village subdistrict of Ranot District, Songkhla. Its Gulf of Thailand frontage forms part of the long coastal landscape of the Sathing Phra peninsula.

The regional environmental office includes Pak Trae Beach in its coastal assessment records. The beach is a local geographical feature within the subdistrict; older environmental assessments do not establish current swimming conditions or visitor facilities.

Community food production is another part of Pak Trae's identity. Thaksin University researchers worked with the curry-paste producers of Ban Hua Ko Chang on production methods and local enterprise development. Village producers and the coastline offer distinct points of interest rather than one combined attraction.
