About Phanang Tung Subdistrict
Phanang Tung (พนางตุง) is a subdistrict of Khuan Khanun District, Phatthalung, south and west of Thale Noi. Community research describes lakeside settlement and the Pak Pra waterway area linking inland drainage with Songkhla Lake.
The SAC community record explains that the wider Thale Noi community has historical connections across both Phanang Tung and the separate Thale Noi tambon. Villages sharing the Thale Noi name do not make the two administrative areas identical.
Phanang Tung also contains the botanical garden recorded by provincial government offices. For wetland viewing, a garden visit or a boat trip, use the precise destination and current access arrangements; the tambon point is not a universal pier or wetland entrance.
