About Phasaeng Subdistrict
Phasaeng (พะแสง) is a subdistrict of Ban Ta Khun in Surat Thani. The Community Development Department's tambon profile describes hills and elevated ground with Khlong Phum Duang passing through, supporting rubber and oil-palm cultivation.
The district public-health office identifies communities including Ban Ta Khun, Pak Nam, Pak Suat, Thai Chiao and Khlong Hin Khao within the local service setting. Phasaeng tambon should be distinguished from Phra Saeng District elsewhere in the province.
