About Phithen Subdistrict
Phithen (พิเทน) is a subdistrict of Thung Yang Daeng District, Pattani. The council's 2023–2027 development plan describes lowland terrain mixed with hills and a network of local streams, with agriculture occupying much of the land.
Seven villages are listed: Kha Ling, Phithen, Pa Maphrao, Bue Cha, Ba Khae, To Chut and Tue Bo. The council office is in Moo 4, north of the district office, while the tambon adjoins Mayo, Sai Buri and Kapho district areas.
These village names are useful for locating a school, farm or community contact within the wider administrative area. Confirm the precise destination before travelling; the general map reference represents Phithen as a tambon and does not identify a trail entrance or visitor centre.
