About Phron Subdistrict
Phron (ตำบลพร่อน), also rendered Phon or Pa Ron locally, is a subdistrict in Mueang Yala District, Yala. It is distinct from Phron in Tak Bai. The authority describes higher ground grading into plains and seasonally wet lowlands.
Rubber gardens and rice fields surround the village settlements. Ban Phron is a named community, while the SAO office is at Ban Tha Wang in village 4 on the Tha Sap–Lam Mai road. Low-lying parts of the tambon are vulnerable to standing water, and the authority also documents dry-season water shortages.
Use the village and Mueang Yala district address for local directions. Contact a host or the authority about road and water conditions before visiting farms after heavy rain or during a prolonged dry spell. Statistics or directions for the similarly named Tak Bai tambon do not describe this area.
