About Phru Nai Subdistrict
Phru Nai (ตำบลพรุใน) is a subdistrict of Ko Yao District, Phang Nga, occupying central and southern parts of Ko Yao Yai island. Ko Yao Yai tambon covers a separate northern administrative area.
Municipal planning describes plains alternating with hills and rocky stretches along the eastern coast. Village references include Phru Nai, Tha Ruea and Lo Pa Ret, while provincial fisheries records identify a landing at Lo Pa Ret. These communities and their tourism businesses form part of a lived-in island landscape.
Match transport and accommodation to the actual village and pier. Ko Yao Yai island-wide advice cannot identify the correct landing for every Phru Nai destination. Check current boat services and sea conditions with the operator; a fishing landing is not automatically a scheduled passenger terminal.
