About Piya Mumang Subdistrict
Piya Mumang (ปิยามุมัง) is a subdistrict of Yaring District, Pattani. It sits inland from the bay-facing settlements, with neighbouring Nong Raet on the eastern side and the Tali-Ai area farther south. Ban Piya and Ban Pa To are named communities within the wider tambon.
The local administrative profile describes a landscape affected by seasonal rain and occasional late-year flooding. Pattani's marine-resource inventory also includes Piya Mumang within Yaring's wider mangrove setting; this does not make every part of the subdistrict a coastal visitor site.
For a community visit or public appointment, use the village and institution name rather than the whole-area reference point. Confirm the final road approach after heavy rain and arrange access with a local host before entering household plots or working land.
