About Rong Subdistrict

Rong (โรง) is a subdistrict of Krasae Sin District, Songkhla. It is a separate locality from the district's other tambon, including Choeng Sae and Ko Yai.

The provincial agricultural office describes low ground beside Songkhla Lake suited to rice, supported by irrigation, with oil palm, coconuts and vegetables also grown. It records the Ban Rong agricultural learning initiative while noting changes to the district's learning-centre arrangements. Recent irrigation work also identifies Khlong Khok Phra and Khlong Rong as local drainage channels.

Arrange a farm-learning visit through the agricultural office or the relevant group and confirm the actual venue. Do not assume that an older learning-centre address still receives visitors. Canal-side access and rural roads should be checked after heavy rain, and working fields or water-control structures require permission before entry.
