About Sakhon Subdistrict

Sakhon (สาคร) is a subdistrict of Tha Phae District in Satun. It is distinct from the province of Samut Sakhon and from other similarly named Thai localities.

The Department of Marine and Coastal Resources records protected mangrove areas in Villages 2, 3 and 4 within the Satun mangrove reserved-forest landscape. Its work includes monitoring and conservation rather than establishing unrestricted visitor access. Provincial education records also place Ban Khlong Song Pak School in this tambon, illustrating the local settlements within the wider geographic boundary.

Arrange any mangrove or community learning visit through the responsible authority or a named local host. Tidal waterways, conservation land and fishing activity require specific timing and access arrangements. Retain the village and institution in the final address; the whole-area map point is not a boat departure or reserve entrance.
