About Samae San Islands
The conservation programme identifies nine islands, including Samae San, Raet, Pla Muek, Kham, Rong Khon, Rong Nang, Chang Kluea, Chuang and Chan. The physical group belongs to Samae San Subdistrict in Chon Buri. Ko Samae San and Ko Kham have separate visitor arrangements; an excursion to one does not establish permission to land on the others. The individual islands remain distinct from this archipelago record.
Book only an authorised visit to the specific island you intend to see. Ko Samae San is presented as a day-visit conservation destination, so confirm current booking, departure pier and the return boat through the naval visitor programme. Protected and military areas elsewhere in the group may be closed to general landing. Follow staff instructions for snorkelling and nature activities, and do not assume private boats can enter every bay.
