About Sateng Nok Subdistrict
Sateng Nok (ตำบลสะเตงนอก) is a subdistrict in Mueang Yala District, Yala. It is distinct from neighbouring Sateng, the central urban tambon. Its settlements form part of the wider Yala urban area while retaining their own municipal administration.
Municipal planning describes a mixture of hills, undulating ground and low-lying land, with communities distributed across the outer city. The authority's current services cover neighbourhood matters such as household addresses, waste collection and flood preparation. Provincial reporting identifies cooperation with nearby authorities on drainage from the Budi and Bue Yo hill areas.
Give a community, village or street name when asking for directions; Sateng Nok is wider than a single town-centre stop.
