About Sateng Subdistrict
Sateng (ตำบลสะเตง) is a subdistrict in Mueang Yala District, Yala, associated with the city's central urban area. It is separate from Sateng Nok, which serves communities around the outer city.
Municipal information identifies Ban Rom public park as a riverside recreation space at Ban Sateng. Historical accounts also place Sateng in the sequence of Yala's earlier town locations. The area's present-day neighbourhoods, public services and riverbank spaces should be understood at street level rather than as one attraction with a common entrance.
Use the particular park, institution or street address for directions within the city. Confirm current arrangements with individual venues and check local notices before approaching riverfront areas in wet weather. An address in Sateng Nok is a different tambon even when described informally as being in Yala city.
