About Tama Yung Subdistrict
Tama Yung (ตะมะยูง) is a subdistrict of Si Sakhon District, Narathiwat. Its local authority describes plains alternating with hills and an agricultural economy involving rubber, longkong, rambutan, mangosteen and durian. The district cultural encyclopedia also records Khlong Hong and Thamnop among its communities, alongside villages with Malay names.
The authority is based at Ban Khlong Hong in Moo 3, north of the district seat. Its published geographical material identifies the Sai Buri River and local waterways including Khlong Ai Dahong and Khlong Lubo Batu. These village and watercourse names provide more precise geographic context than the district name alone.
Use the full village address when arranging a journey or making a local enquiry. The administrative map point represents the tambon generally, rather than the precise position of the council office, health centre or a riverside access point.
