About Tapan Subdistrict
Tapan (ตะปาน) is a subdistrict in Phunphin District, Surat Thani. Local education records identify five villages, including Plai Khlong, Tapan, Bang Bao, Thap Paet and Huai Sai Khao.
The council describes higher land in the west descending towards the Tapi River on the eastern side. Rubber and oil-palm growing occupy much of the working landscape.
Khlong Tapan crosses several villages and Khlong Ching So joins the local river network. The waterways and village names are useful for orienting a visit within the tambon. This administrative record is broader than a single riverside site or farm, which will require its own precise address.
