About Tapo Yo Subdistrict

Tapo Yo (ตำบลตะปอเยาะ), also written Tapoyo, is a subdistrict in Yi-ngo District, Narathiwat. The Land Development Department identifies five villages, including Ban Tapo Yo, Ban Buke Bakong, Ban Baluka, Ban Baluka Sano and Ban Ku Yi.

Its land-use plan describes higher and steeper ground on the western side near the Budo–Su-ngai Padi protected landscape, sloping towards lower land in the east. Named streams include Khlong Ku Yi, Khlong Ku Wae and Khlong Lubo Anong. Royal-development records document water-supply work for Ban Baluka Sano and neighbouring settlements.

Match directions to the particular village, school or project rather than the tambon's map point. Working irrigation structures and farms are not automatically public recreation sites. Ask the relevant local contact about the road approach and permission for a community visit, especially after heavy rain.
