About Tha Chana Subdistrict
Tha Chana (ท่าชนะ) is both a district name and the name of this subdistrict in Surat Thani. The district agricultural office's 2026 plan records ten villages in the tambon.
The municipal area's published profile describes low-lying land crossed by canals, including Khlong Tha Krachai, Khlong Ta Lek and Khlong Na Riang. The surrounding communities form part of the settled eastern side of the district.
Tha Chana Municipality serves parts of Tha Chana and neighbouring Samo Thong, so its boundary is different from the whole tambon. Use a village, market or individual-site address for a specific journey; municipal population and household figures should not be substituted for the full subdistrict.
