About Thung Wa Subdistrict
Thung Wa (ทุ่งหว้า) is both a district name and the name of this subdistrict in Satun. The geographic tambon should be distinguished from the smaller municipal community and from the full district boundary.
The municipality describes its setting among hills, lower ground and waterways, with Khlong Tha Oi north of the community and Khlong Thung Wa to the west. District agricultural planning places the wider area within a transition between hill-country headwaters and lower settlements. Municipal schools, services and community streets occupy only part of that landscape.
Choose the specific old-town street, institution or village before travelling. District-level attractions may be in other tambon, so retain the complete address rather than assuming every site labelled Thung Wa is nearby. Confirm access with individual caretakers for religious buildings, learning activities or managed natural sites.
