About Trang Subdistrict

Trang (ตำบลตรัง) is a subdistrict in Mayo District, Pattani. It is unrelated to Trang Province on the Andaman coast. The authority's development plan describes four villages, mostly on low-lying land, with some hill country in the southern part of village 3.

Rice is cultivated on the lower ground, while rubber and fruit gardens occupy suitable higher land. The local history also documents a women's weaving group producing traditional patterned textiles, including Juan Tani and Ratchawat designs. Nearby Ko Chan, Lubo Yirai and Pado provide useful geographic references for this inland tambon.

Specify Mayo District and Pattani when arranging transport or asking about local services. Arrange a weaving or farm visit directly with the relevant community group; a planning document does not establish daily shop or demonstration hours. Use a confirmed village address rather than the subdistrict reference point.
