About Wang Maprang Nuea Subdistrict

Wang Maprang Nuea (วังมะปรางเหนือ) is a subdistrict of Wang Wiset District, Trang. It is a separate tambon from neighbouring Wang Maprang, despite their closely related names.

Local planning and university research describe alternating lower ground and hills, with higher forested terrain to the north. Khlong Chi is an important waterway, reaching the locality from its headwaters in the Ao Tong area. The Land Development Department also describes much of the tambon as upland, so one village's low ground should not define the whole boundary.

Choose a named village or institution for navigation. Rural routes and riverside approaches may differ considerably across the area, and a broad administrative point does not identify a trailhead or a council entrance. Ask locally about access after heavy rain and obtain permission before entering farms or forest land.
