About Yata Subdistrict
Yata (ยะต๊ะ) is one of Raman District's subdistricts in Yala. The local development plan places it southwest of the district centre, between Kalupang to the north, Kalo and Buemang to the south, and Balo and Kayu Boko on the eastern side.
Its administrative area includes Ban Yata, Tuku, Talo, U Bae and Ti Bu. Plains and lower ground are interspersed with rising land and hills, with rubber, fruit trees and rice among the household farming activities. Paved, concrete and unsealed roads connect the villages, so the conditions of a particular approach matter more than a general tambon-centre location.
Select the village, host or institution before arranging transport. Local learning activities and agricultural groups can provide context for a planned visit, but should be contacted ahead of time. Confirm the last road section after wet weather and keep the Thai spelling ยะต๊ะ available, especially where a destination is described only by a school or village name.
